Peay recently attented the 139th AVMA Annual Convention at Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center Nashville in Nashville, Tenn. Around 3,700 veterinarians from all around the world attended the convention over the five days. The educational programs covered most all aspects of veterinarian medicine. The educational programs where divided into around 16 different sections which were all going on at the same time. It became difficult at times to pick which programs to attend. Some of the overall topics included Advances in Veterinary Medicine, Aquaculture Medicine, Bovine Medicine, Companion Animal Medicine, Complementary/ Alternative Medicine, Current Issues in Public Practice, Equine Medicine, Food Safety, Lab Animal Medicine, Multimedia Education Center, Personal / Professional Dev. Prog., Poultry Medicine, Small Ruminant Medicine, Swine Medicine, Veterinary Technician, and Veterinary Wet Lab. Dr. Peay spent most of his time in the Companion Animal Medicine and Advances in Veterinarian Medicine sections.
